Each year when the Florida Legislature is in session, local officials turn their attention to Tallahassee to see what, if any, allocations will come this way, as well as to determine which laws might have a local impact.
According to County Administrator Dustin Hinkel, this was a “good year” for the county, with several funding line-items included in the budget and few new mandates passed down to the local level from the state.
