Contract awarded for new artificial reef

The Taylor County Commission is moving forward on its next state-funded artificial reef deployment, awarding the $63,000 project to D&L Contracting, LLC, of Suwannee.

The commission approved a $60,000 grant agreement with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) in November and put the project out for bids earlier this year.
