The driver of a Culligan water delivery truck lost control of the vehicle and over-corrected, causing the vehicle to cross both southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 19, Florida Highway Patrol Trooper Charles Swindle reported.

The truck hit a concrete drain in the median before rotating counter clockwise and overturning onto its side.

The crash, six miles north of Perry, caused more than an hour’s delay for commuters and travelers. A mile-long line of vehicles filled the northbound lanes of U.S. Highway 19 while workers cleared the scene.
