‘64 Nickels to perform at free concert in Gainesville

The band ’64 Nickels will perform tonight (Friday) as part of Gainesville’s “Free Fridays” Concert Series at the Bo Diddley Community Plaza.

‘64 Nickels plays classic songs from the 1950s to the 1980s with most of their repertoire circa 1964, which was the year that The Beatles first performed on “The Ed Sullivan Show” and began what was known in the United States as the British invasion.
