Suspect who fled during trial caught in Arizona

A defendant who fled the jurisdiction on the second day of his jury trial here was apprehended in Arizona Wednesday night, May 8.

Members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Phoenix took Daniel M. McCune, 27, into custody without incident around 7 p.m. local time. He is awaiting extradition to Taylor County where he faces sentencing on his original drug trafficking charges (the jury deliberated in his absence and found him guilty as charged).
