Bailey places second at state weightlifting meet

Taylor County High senior weightlifter Brinyce Bailey placed second in the state weightlifting meet last week in Kissimmee after winning both the district and regional titles earlier this month.

Bailey, who competed in the 219-pound class, benched pressed 390 pounds and had a clean and jerk of 275 pounds.
