Cell mate says Arrowood confessed; agent testifies victim’s home ‘targeted’

State prosecutors John Weed and James McCain called more than dozen witnesses to testify during Garrett Arrowood’s four-day murder trial April 19-22.

They included family members of the victim, Shelly Strickland, as well as a host of law enforcement officers, crime scene analysts and local residents. The defense rested its case without calling anyone to the stand.
