‘Salute’ mom with roses

Taylor County High School’s JROTC Bulldog Battalion encourages residents to “salute” their mothers on Mother’s Day with roses.

Cadets will host a fund-raiser Saturday, May 7, at Zeigler’s Florist from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., selling roses for Mother’s Day.

“We would like to thank Rachel Maddox and Zeigler’s for their generous support. Cadets have worked at the flower shop after school all week preparing flowers for Saturday’s event,” Senior Army Instructor Christopher McDaniel said.
