Stephens Spring grant on the table May 12

Staff with the Suwannee River Water Management District (SRWMD) have recommended the governing board approve a $97,000 grant to help fund the restoration of Stephens Spring in Steinhatchee.

The board will consider approving 15 projects to be funded through SRWMD’s Regional Initiative Valuing Environmental Resources (RIVER) program during its Thursday, May 12, meeting to be held at the Steinhatchee Landing conference center beginning at 9 a.m.
