Kindergarten class of 2018-19 will be first to attend new primary school

Many of today’s two- and three-year-olds will make up the graduating class of 2031, but they will also have another distinction: the first kindergarten class to attend the new Perry Primary School (PPS) when it opens for the 2018-19 school year.

Work to design the new PPS, which was included in Florida’s state budget this year, is underway and the Taylor County School District is expected to begin advertising for a construction firm in July. The new school will be located next to the existing Taylor County Elementary School (TCES).
