Rowell charged with felony criminal mischief

Former county commissioner Walter Rowell, 65, was arrested Thursday and faces a felony charge of criminal mischief for allegedly vandalizing barricades placed at the newly constructed bridge on Highway 221 near Rocky’s convenience store.

He was released on his own recognizance (ROR) the same day.
