County talks boat ramps Tuesday

Facing what could be an even busier summer boating season than usual, the Taylor County Commission will hold a workshop next week to discuss ways to improve its boat ramp operations.

At Tuesday’s regular board meeting, County Commissioner Pam Feagle requested the board consider holding a special workshop to discuss boat ramps, especially the Keaton Beach ramp where weekend use is already causing parking and traffic congestion.
