Murphy is seeking 7th term as Taylor County’s Clerk of Court

Longtime Clerk of Court Annie Mae Murphy has announced her candidacy, seeking a seventh term in office.

“Our office had only one P.C. (personal computer) when I took office in December 1992. We have increased the technology in the clerk’s office continually since 1992, and I am happy to report that all records are currently computerized with some records available on our website and the internet for the public to view. We strive to keep up with technology as it is an ever-changing process,” the 24-year incumbent said.
