County ok’s golf cart rentals

Despite concerns over whether the county’s existing golf cart ordinances are being properly enforced, the Taylor County Commission unanimously agreed this week to begin allowing the commercial leasing of golf carts for use on certain public right-of-ways.

The board delayed a decision, however, on a separate question of whether to allow the use of golf carts on the Steinhatchee bridge connecting the coastal community with Jena in Dixie County.
