“This leadership must be willing to help take Taylor County forward into the future while running an efficient office. I have served as the Taylor County Probation Supervisor for some 30 years, having worked for two county judges, the Honorable Stephen ‘Buddy’ Murphy and the Honorable Bill Blue. Also, I have served as the county probation supervisor in both Madison and Hamilton counties, again for some 30 years. By working in this position I have had the opportunity to gain experiences from additional clerks’ offices, allowing me to gain knowledge on how other clerks run their offices. By being in these county courthouses, I hear many remarks from other judges, attorneys and clerks’ staff. This knowledge I can put to use for the citizens of Taylor County,” Cone said.
