Seat belt stop ends with cocaine seizure

A Perry man faces enhanced drug charges for alleged possession of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a church.

Approximately five grams of cocaine—much of which was packaged in individual baggies—were discovered in Christopher M. Collier’s possession during a routine traffic stop Monday afternoon in the Tidewater Apartments’ area off South Warner Avenue.

PHOTO: Several small bags of cocaine, apparently packaged for individual sale, were seized.
