Steinhatchee man charged with firing shots at tenant

A dispute between a landlord and tenant Thursday, July 14, escalated into violence with the landlord allegedly firing several shots at the tenant and also threatening to shoot the responding law enforcement officer.

Roger William Cable, 67, of Steinhatchee, was booked Friday, July 15, on charges of attempted felony murder, aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting officer with violence and shooting/ throwing missile into a dwelling/building.
