Since Foley Timber and Land Company was sold late last year, becoming Four Rivers Land and Timber, the primary question in the community has been, “Who are the new owners?”
Foley’s 560,000 acres or 876 square miles of premium timberlands centered in Taylor County is the largest contiguous piece of vacant private land east of the Mississippi River, and who now owns that property has been something of a question…even to one of its own attorneys.
