Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH) officials recently unveiled their financial figures for the first nine months of the current fiscal year, which showed the hospital facing a $351,000 net loss through February.
Compared to the previous fiscal year over the same nine months, the hospital reported an uptick in net operating revenue and a slight decrease in net operating expenses, although the hospital still had an operating loss over this period of $2.2 million (a $119,000 improvement over the previous year), according to figures presented to the Taylor County Commission last week by DMH CEO Gerri Forbes.
