The Taylor County Commission formally adopted its proposed millage rates Wednesday morning, adopting the rollback rate for the 2016-17 fiscal year, which is a roughly three-percent increase over the current year.
The board held four workshops spanning nearly 18 hours to balance its budget, doing so in the end by agreeing to adopt the rollback rate to fund raises for most county employees.
