Man charged with assault

A 56-year-old man has been charged with aggravated assault and discharging a firearm in a residence following an early morning confrontation Monday.

When Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) Deputy Sean Butler made contact with the victim at an Ira L. Smith Road residence, he was told that Glenn Dice had not only threatened to shoot/kill the victim with a loaded rifle, but had discharged the weapon inside the home.
