    Notice of Meeting Ñ Private Attorney-Client Session
    The District Board of Trustees of North Florida Community College announces a private attorney-client session to be conducted pursuant to Section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes. The private attorney-client session shall convene on August 16th, 2016 at 5:00 prior to the BoardÕs regularly scheduled meeting currently scheduled to begin at 5:30. At the conclusion of the private attorney-client session, the regularly scheduled meeting shall be convened.
    The private attorney-client session shall be held in the NFCC Board Room (Bldg. 9), North Florida Community College, 325 NW Turner Davis Drive, Madison, FL 32340.
    The subject matter of the private attorney-client session shall be confined to settlement negotiations or strategy sessions related to litigation expenditures in The District Board of Trustees of North Florida Community College vs the City of Madison, #2016-075-CA, 3rd Judicial Circuit, Madison County, FL.

    REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR NEW PRIMARY SCHOOL TAYLOR COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT
    I. INTRODUCTION
    Taylor Comity School District is requesting written proposals from qualified construction firms to provide professional At-Risk Construction Management Services for the Budgeting and Construction Phase on the proposed New Primary School.
    II. It is the County’s intention to employ the Construction Firm at Risk to provide overall Project Construction Management, Cost Benefit Studies if needed. Information Management, Construction of Scope of Work and overall Project Management during the Construction on a cost plus a fee basis, with a guaranteed maximum price.
    III. PROPOSAL INSTRUCTIONS AND GENERAL INFORMATION
    Proposal Submissions: Submit five (5) copies of a written proposal no later than 2:00 PM, August 18,2016.

    Proposals must be responsive to the requirements and questions of the Request for Proposal.
    Reservations: Taylor County School District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to negotiate changes in the new scope of work or services to be provided, and to otherwise waive any technicalities or informalities.
    Method of Selection: Proposals will be reviewed by the Construction Management Review Committee, which has been appointed by the Taylor County School Board. The Construction Management Review Committee shall receive the qualifications (which shall include, but are not limited to, the eight items listed below) of interested firms. Subsequently, the Construction Management Review Committee shall develop a short list of firms. The short listed firms will be invited to make presentations to the Construction Management Review Committee. Following the presentations, the Construction Review Committee shall make a recommendation to the school board. Upon acceptance of the recommendation from the Construction Management Review Committee, the Taylor County School Board may enter into negotiations or entertain bids with the selected Construction Management Firm.

    3. Availability of time to start and complete project within Owner’s requirements.
    4. Insurance carrier and applicable coverage.
    5. Qualifications of staff to be utilized on this project with names, short resumes, length of time with firm and previous clients served.
    6. Names of five (5) previous School Clients with phone numbers and contact person.
    7. Description of previous experience, to include budget, final cost, time schedule, change orders, etc.
    8. Experience with DOE Special Facility Construction Account projects.
