The City of Perry Water Division, in conjunction with the City Fire Department, is flushing fire hydrants throughout the city and county during the months of August, September and October.
The rotations began Tuesday, Aug. 2, and continue each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Residents are advised not to do any laundry on these days.
“You may experience a slight pressure fluctuation and water discoloration. These inconveniences are only temporary and should be cleared up within 24 hours,” officials said.
