Man arrested after verbally assaulting power crews

Faced with one of the longest widespread power outages in more than a decade, residents’ patience was tested during the four-day ordeal resulting from Hurricane Hermine.

Hundreds of utility workers streamed in to the county and immediately began making repairs. Most were met by smiles of appreciation and grateful expressions as power began to be restored across the county.
