Storm could impact 2017 property taxes

Damages from Hurricane Hermine that are not rehabilitated before Jan. 1, 2017, will not be taxed for the 2017 tax year, according to Bruce Ratliff, Taylor County property appraiser.
No changes will be made to the current 2016 tax bills due to storm-related damages, he said.
