Pet event is Sept. 17

Tractor Supply in Perry will celebrate Pet Appreciation Day by hosting a pet adoption event this Saturday, Sept. 17, from
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Several local shelters and pet supporters will be represented at the event including Taylor County Animal Control, Helping Hands of the Shelter, Forest Capital Humane Society, Meow or Never Rescue, Shuttered Moments, Taylor County 4-H Sharpshooters and AMVET Riders.

Activities will include free photos, prizes, horse rides, concessions and a dog wash.
