County will approve final 2016-17 budget Sept. 19

The Taylor County Commission adopted its tentative millage rates Monday evening, approving the rollback rate for the 2016-17 fiscal year, which is a roughly three percent increase over the current year.

The board also voted to approve its tentative budget, which totals $46.9 million.
