Free festival starts tonight

This weekend (Sept. 23-24), the community is expected to gather at Forest Capital Park for the Country in the Pines Music Festival, which will be free for all to enter as a celebration of “surviving Hurricane Hermine.”

In addition to two days of country and southern rock music, the event will feature a kids fun zone and a pizza-eating contest, among other activities.
