Watch mailbox for General Election ballots

Little more than a month remains until the 2016 General Election, but vote-by-mail ballots are already on their way to local voters.

The first wave was mailed Friday, Sept. 23, for active members of the U.S. military and those currently overseas. All other domestic ballots started going out Tuesday, Oct. 4.
