‘File a claim now’

While Taylor County residents are still not eligible for individual assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), local and state officials are asking anyone whose property was damaged by Hurricane Hermine to go ahead and make a claim.

“We really need our citizens to call FEMA and help make a case for individual assistance,” Taylor County Emergency Management Director Steve Spradley said.
