Evacuees flood Taylor

Although Taylor County is still recovering from Hurricane Hermine, it has now become a temporary refuge for those fleeing Hurricane Matthew, with local hotels booked solid by Thursday afternoon.

The worst impacts from Hurricane Matthew are expected to stay on the east side of I-75, but forecasters are saying that Taylor County could experience wind gusts as high as 45-50 mph today (Friday) from the storm.
