The Force will be strong in downtown Perry for the annual Florida Forest Festival Kids’ Parade as participants celebrate this year’s festival theme “May the FOREST Be with You.”
The parade will be held Saturday, Oct. 15, starting at 10 p.m. in downtown Perry.
Registration is free and forms are available at the Chamber of Commerce. Registration will also be held prior to the parade. Participants must be ready for the parade line-up by 9:30 a.m.
The parade will step off at the intersection of Washington Street and Main, and will continue around the courthouse and down to City Park.
A hot dog lunch will be served to all participants.
Awards will be presented in four categories: Most in Keeping with Festival Theme, Most Original (creative), Most Humorous and Judges’ Choice.
