Great Race set for festival morning

The fourth annual Florida Forest Festival Great Race 5k Run/Walk, presented by the Big Bend Track Club, will take place Saturday, Oct. 22, at 8 a.m.

“The route takes runners on a winding course through historic downtown Perry, past the Taylor school district, crossing Jefferson Street alongside the beautiful Veterans Memorial Park, winding around and finishing on Jefferson Street amongst cheering spectators lined up for the Forest Festival parade,” organizers said.
