Burglary suspects identified thanks to social media post

Investigators began receiving tips Wednesday afternoon “almost immediately” after posting security footage on Facebook of two men suspected in a local home burglary.

“The footage was obtained due to the diligence of the investigating officer checking possible locations where he thought the suspects might go,” Perry Police Department (PPD) Capt. Gene Franklin said.
