Create ‘recycled art’ Oct. 27

Registration is underway for a “recycled art” program at the Taylor County Public Library for children ages five to nine.

The free event will be held Thursday, Oct. 27, from 3-4 p.m.

“The theme this year is ‘monsters.’ Advance registration is required and an adult must accompany children. Space is limited,” children’s librarian Sonja Burford said.

Upcoming activities in November include programs for Lego Mindstorms (a robotic Lego system). Interested persons are asked to contact Burford at the library, (850) 838-3512.
