Dixon charged with dealing Xanax

A 9 mm Kimber handgun, 39 Xanax pills and a cache of drug paraphernalia were seized following a routine traffic stop Sunday afternoon, Oct. 16, at the intersection of Old Dixie Highway and Poppell Drive.

The seizure resulted in the arrest of John Wayne “J.W.” Dixon, 30, on charges of armed trafficking in Alprazolam (Xanax), possession of a controlled substance, carrying a concealed weapon and felony possession of drug paraphernalia.
