Festival bed race canceled

On Tuesday, despite “much advertising and effort,” Main Street Perry announced Friday’s Great Bed Race has been canceled due to a lack of participation.

Remaining festival events on Friday evening include the Strutt Your Mutt Dog Contest, the Kids Kilometer and the Gaslight Antique Car Parade.
