The force was strong in Taylor County this past weekend when the 61st annual Florida Forest Festival brought thousands of spectators to the community.
The month-long celebration of the forestry industry, celebrating “May the Forest Be With You,” culminated Saturday, Oct. 22, at Forest Capital State Park with lumberjack shows and saw competitions, live music, arts and crafts, hundreds of classic cars as well as the “World’s Largest Free Fish Fry.”
