‘Dogs finish as district runners-up

The Taylor County Bulldogs survived a scary Halloween night and salvaged their season by finishing second in a three-team district tiebreaker Monday night in Perry.

Over the Halloween weekend, the Bulldogs had two chances to secure the district championship and home field advantage in the first round of the play-offs, but came up empty both times.
