Man sees police, takes off running

Officers were out in force last Thursday conducting a sweep of more than a dozen alleged drug dealers and their presence evidently triggered a 24-year-old man’s “fight or flight” impulse. He chose flight.

“The officers didn’t understand why he was running. He wasn’t even on their wanted list,” Perry Police Department (PPD) Capt. Gene Franklin said.
