Steinhatchee mourns loss of ‘two very good citizens’

Robert and Susan Archibald were not native to Steinhatchee, but like so many others, they embraced the community and soon became an integral part of its small-town family.

Friends are mourning their loss and remembering them as “lovely people, a wonderful couple. Steinhatchee lost two very good citizens. They were both loving, talented and creative. They did a lot for the community.”

On Thursday, the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) identified the Archibolds as the victims in an ongoing death investigation.
