Arthur Daniel “Danny” Akins, 61, died May 17, 2013.

A visitation was held on Sunday, May 19, from 6-8 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home Chapel in Crystal River, where funeral services were conducted Monday, May 20, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Lloyd Bertine and Leon B. Akins Sr. officiating. Interment followed at Woodlawn Cemetery in Perry at 3 p.m.
