For the second time in less than a week, Perry residents had a close call and escaped serious injury in a car crash that occurred in Jefferson County.
Roger Turner, 29, Katrina Turner, 26, and Thomas Turner, 30, all of Perry, were traveling west on U.S. 27 when a 2006 GMC truck driven by Barrett Rodgers, 72, of Inverness, pulled into their path as he attempted to turn left from U.S. 19.
