Taylor County football fans were treated to an exciting, fast-paced, hard-hitting taste of what is in store for Bulldogs’ football this upcoming season with a very competitive “Blue vs. White” intrasquad scrimmage game Friday night at Dorsett Stadium.
The Blue team (first team offense, second team defense) squeaked out a 30-24 victory in triple overtime, as running back Darrell Cook (16 carries, 86 yards, 1 TD) plunged over the goal line on 4th and 4 after a controversial flag negated what appeared to be a game-saving stop by the White defense.
