White sought after defying judge’s order

Suspect Alan White, whose attempt at a home invasion was thwarted by the homeowner, failed to return to custody after receiving a medical furlough Tuesday.

“We are actively searching for him,” Taylor County Sheriff Wayne Padgett said Thursday.
