Talks take angry turn

Contention among several of the Taylor County commissioners boiled over during a Steinhatchee workshop last week when a discussion about road paving quickly escalated into a shouting match between Chair Pam Feagle and Commissioner Frank Russell.

The two have butted heads on a variety of issues since Russell’s election last November, but this disagreement, albeit short-lived, was the most rancorous to date, so much so that one of their fellow board members stated that one of Russell’s comments sounded “threatening.”
