Raid takes down ‘major player’ in meth distribution

A Wednesday afternoon arrest took down what Sheriff Wayne Padgett called “significant “ players in methamphetamine distribution here.

A substantial amount of meth was also seized during the arrest as well as one handgun and several rounds of ammunition.
