Chamber plans summer luncheon May 30

The Summer Chamber Luncheon will be held on Thursday, May 30, at the Perry Theatre at 12 noon.

Sponsored by Fairpoint Communications, the Perry Theatre and the Perry-Taylor County Chamber of Commerce, the event will welcome Dallas Garrett as guest speaker. “A successful business developer, Dallas will speak on local business development and what we all can do to ensure success. Garrett was a Small Business Development Center (SBDC) consultant and director in Galax, Va., for eight years. He was with the SBDC for six years and was instrumental in developing 181 funded businesses and creating 831 jobs.
