Derelict eyesore finally removed?

The Louisa may soon be finally on her way out of the Steinhatchee River, where the 40-ton vessel has spent years moored and for the past six months run aground.

The Taylor County Commission agreed last week to seek a state grant to fund the removal of the vessel to Dixie County, which has plans to utilize it as part of an artificial reef currently in the permitting process.
