Funds sought for Williams Landing upgrades

The Taylor County Commission officially agreed last week to pursue a state grant to make up to $200,000 in improvements to the Williams Fish Camp Landing boat ramp on the Aucilla River.

Although the ramp in question had been referred to as the Mandalay boat ramp, County Grant Coordinator Melody Cox told commissioners the official name of the facility is Williams Fish Camp Landing.
